Top Places to Visit in Mekong River Delta, Vietnam

Mekong Delta is a vast network of rivers, tributaries, stilt houses and rice fields in the southwest region of Vietnam, between Ho Chi Minh City and Cambodia.

The northern delta is home to fruit farms and rice fields; the south-central delta encompasses Ca Mau peninsula; while the southern section is a haven for water birds and some rare species thanks to the presence of steamy mangrove swamps, thick palm forests and flooded delta.

Scattered within the giant Delta are numerous places to visit that give you amazing views into what life might be like in the rural area of Vietnam.
