Heritage Line Ylang Cruise: Luxurious Ship in Lan Ha Bay

Tourists show up at the welcome lounge of Heritage Line at Tuan Chau Marina, then tourists will be transferred by speedboat to the luxurious Heritage Line Ylang Cruise that is waiting at the embarkation point. While the boat is cruising towards Lan Ha Bay, tourists will have a tasty lunch with local cuisine at the elegant restaurant, where tourists can enjoy an overview of Lan Ha Bay.

After lunch, tourists are free to relax on the deck or at the private room and prepare for the afternoon excursion. While Heritage Line Ylang Cruise is travelling towards Cat Ba Island, passengers can enjoy spa treatment and massage, or immerse in the outdoor pool.

The rendezvous of the day is Viet Hai Fishing Village, which nestles in a small corner of Cat Ba. It is a reserved area, where the community is nearly isolated from the outside world and nature still retains its pristine appearance.

A bike or an electric cart will take tourists through the village. The journey to Viet Hai Fishing Village is a good opportunity to explore the unique customs and traditions of the local residents, meet the hospitable residents and experience their daily life.

After the trip to Viet Hai Fishing Village, tourists will get back to the cruise and relax with some activities on board. You have some options such as tea tasting, spa treatment or sightseeing on the deck to admire the sunset in the sea.

The second wonderful day in Lan Ha Bay will start with a Tai Chi session on the terrace deck, where you can ease your mind and contemplate the splendid sunrise in the sea.

Following the morning exercise is a nutritious breakfast to provide tourists with enough energy for the whole morning excursion.

Cat Ba Island is the first destination in the morning, and tourists will be transferred there on a tender boat. Their Heritage Line Ylang Cruise will take tourists to visit one of the largest floating villages in the Gulf of Tonkin, which is not very far from Ben Beo town. The village is the home of nearly 300 families, who earn their living mainly on fishing and aquaculture. This is the place where you can get closer to the locals and find out how their daily life on the water is.

The next stopover of the morning is Cat Ba National Park, the world biosphere reserve in North Vietnam. Cat Ba National Park is the habitat for thousands of plants and hundreds of animal species. A light walk through the jungle will bring tourists an overview of this specific island. Tourists who are not interested in this activity can get back to the cruise and have some other activities instead.

After completing the morning itinerary, tourists will get back to Heritage Line Ylang Cruise and have a delicious lunch to recharge the batteries.

In the afternoon of the second day, the tender boat will take tourists to a pristine island, where a white sandy beach is located. There you can have plenty of selections: swimming, kayaking, sunbathing or grabbing a snack on the beach. Just enjoy the sea in your own way.

Alternatively, tourists can stay on board, have a massage at a spa or take a steam bath during the afternoon.
