Detailed Itinerary

09:00 AM – Start Your Journey
Meet your local guide at the designated meeting point. After a brief introduction, begin your 5km trek into the terraced rice fields of Don Village — a postcard-perfect valley of swaying paddies.

From here, wind your way through Quan and Uoi, two lesser-known but breathtakingly serene villages. Their quiet beauty and authentic life feel untouched by tourism.

Late Morning – Traditional Culture & Hidden Trails
Arrive at Lan Village, a cultural gem where the Thai ethnic people still preserve their traditional hand-weaving craft. Witness skilled artisans weaving brocade by hand — a craft passed down through generations.

Continue another 3km on foot, deeper into Lan’s remote outskirts. Along the way, pass simple homes nestled into the landscape, with locals going about their daily life in harmony with nature.

Your jungle trail leads you to Long Village, home to the famous Co Lung duck farms. Learn about this premium local breed, raised entirely within Pu Luong and awarded a protected Geographical Indication by Vietnam.

Lunchtime – Hieu Waterfall Retreat
A transfer (car or pre-arranged bicycle) will take you along scenic village roads toward Hieu Village, a peaceful spot nestled beside a waterfall.

Arrive at a riverside restaurant and enjoy a local lunch surrounded by the sounds of nature. The cool mist and gurgling water set the perfect tone for an afternoon retreat.

Afternoon – Swim, Explore, Return
Take your time to swim in Pu Luong’s largest waterfall, explore its natural surroundings, and let the moment sink in. Afterward, continue your walk through Upper Hieu Village, a more secluded area overlooking misty mountains and terraced fields.

Stroll along the stream, catching glimpses of local life and scenic views until you reach the main road.

Note for cyclists: After lunch and time at the waterfall, bikers will follow an alternative scenic route along village paths, passing through small hamlets before returning to the base point.

03:30–04:00 PM – Return & Farewell
Expect a transfer pick-up and arrive back at your accommodation by 4:30 PM. Say goodbye to your guide and enjoy the rest of your afternoon at leisure — recharged by nature, enriched by culture.
