Start at Independence Palace, also known as Reunification Palace, to learn about its place in Vietnam’s history. Continue to Notre Dame Cathedral for an outside visit, followed by the nearby Central Post Office, one of the city’s best-known French colonial landmarks. Visit the War Remnants Museum to explore its wartime exhibits before having lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon Head to Chinatown to visit Thien Hau Pagoda, dedicated to the Goddess of the Sea. Continue to Cho Lon Market for a closer look at the area’s busy trading life. Finish your sightseeing with a Saigon River Water Bus ride, enjoying a different perspective on Ho Chi Minh City’s modern skyline. Around 18:00 – Return to your hotel or the meeting point.
