If you are into Vietnam’s history and world’s history, you should probably know that Dien Bien Phu War is one of our most famous victories that completely forced the French army to surrender and leave Vietnam, a milestone that marks the complete failure of France in its attempt to rebuild Indochina in particular and its colonial empire in general after World War II, thereby ended 400 years of old colonialism in the world. Highlights Visit all historical landmarks in the Dien Bien Phu War Conquer the peak of Milestone 0 - A Pa Chai, the westernmost point of the country where the borders of Vietnam - Laos and China meet. Be informed about the war by an experienced tour guide Detailed Itinerary Day 1 Hanoi – Moc Chau - Dien Bien (L/D) 06:00: Tour guide picks up guests at the meeting point in Hanoi city and departs to explore A Pa Chai. On the way, you will stop for a free break and have breakfast.09:00: Stop to admire the scenery and take photos at Thung Khe pass. Thung Khe Pass is at an altitude of about 1,000m above sea level. The top of Thung Khe pass is where tourists can feel the cool air that is very typical of Mai Chau. From the top of Thung Khe, you can see the entire valley at the foot of the pass, face the cool breeze, and see lush green carpets full of life.09:30: Continue to get on the bus to Moc Chau, the car will stop at beautiful places along the way for you to take pictures and record your journey to explore the Northwest such as: Mai Chau old forest, poetic scenery at Van Ho, the famous S-shaped road, has been recorded by thousands of travelers every time they pass here.12:00: Arrive in Moc Chau, have lunch at a local restaurant. After lunch, you continue to board the bus to Dien Bien. On the way, you will stop to rest in Yen Chau, buy local specialties and especially single clove garlic (lonely garlic).15:00: Stop taking photos at the top of Pha Din pass - one of the four great passes of the North.18:00: Arrive in Dien Bien, check in to the hotel and rest.19:00: Dinner at the restaurant.Free time in the evening. Overnight in Dien Bien. Day 2 Dien Bien - A Pa Chai - Muong Nhe (B/L/D) 05:30: You check out and have breakfast. Then get on the bus to depart for A Pa Chai. On the way, admire the majestic scenery of the Northwest mountains and forests. Especially the road turning from Highway 6 where the scenery is still very wild and new.11:30: Lunch at Muong Nhe restaurant. After lunch, the car continues to take you to Border Guard Station 317. Here, soldiers at the Border Guard Station will disseminate regulations and instructions for the group using motorbikes to conquer the peak of Milestone 0 - A Pa Chai, the westernmost point of the country, is famous for "a rooster crowing that all three countries can hear" because this is where the borders of Vietnam - Laos and China meet. You will have to cross slopes, head-high grass hills and then cross dense paths of primeval forest to reach Milestone 0 - ApaChai.18:30: Dinner and overnight in Muong Nhe. Day 3 Muong Nhe - DIen Bien - Muong Phang - Tuan Giao (B/L/D) 05:30: You check out, pack your luggage, have breakfast then get on the bus to Dien Bien.10:30: Visit Muong Thanh Bridge, Nam Rom River and General De Cat's Tunnel - in this bunker, General De Cat welcomed many high-ranking officials such as: French Prime Minister Joseph Laniel, US President Dwight Eisenhower, British Prime Minister Winston Churchill and many famous journalists. Visit Hill A1 with traces of nearly 1 ton of sandstone still present here.Noon: Lunch at the restaurant. After lunch, the car continues to take you to visit Muong Phang - the command base of our soldiers in the Dien Bien Phu campaign. You visit the entire relic site and take commemorative photos at the cluster of monuments at Victory Park in Muong Phang.18:00: Arrive in Tuan Giao, you check in to the hotel.19:00: Dinner. Free evening to rest and have fun. Overnight at Tuan Giao. Day 4 Tuan Giao - Ha Noi (B/L) 06:00: Check out of the hotel, have breakfast then get on the bus back to Hanoi.11:30: Lunch at Moc Chau.
