► Day 0: Hanoi – Ha Giang

Transfer from Hanoi to Ha Giang.

► Day 1: Ha Giang City – Bac Sum Slope – Quan Ba Heaven Gate – Twin Mountains – Yen Minh – Tham Ma Slope – H’mong King Palace – Dong Van Town

8:30 AM: Tour starts at our homestay in Ha Giang City. Our tour guides and drivers will brief you on safety guidelines for riding with our easy riders.

On the first day, you will experience dramatic changes in scenery as you drive into the mountain roads. We will stop at Bac Sum Slope to enjoy the view and have refreshments before arriving at Quan Ba town. The tour takes you through the Dong Van Karst Geopark – a major geoheritage site in Vietnam. You will see numerous terraced rice fields, thousands of limestone formations, magnificent views…

You’ll observe local people working on their land and experience rural North Vietnamese countryside life. Our riders will take you to the Quan Ba Heaven Gate & Twin Mountains – famous viewpoints in Ha Giang. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant in Yen Minh Town. After the lunch, we will stop at Tham Ma Slope and the Vuong family residence, known as the “H’mong King Palace.” We’ll then proceed to our homestay for dinner in Dong Van Town.

► Day 2: Dong Van Town – Youth Volunteer Monument – Ma Pi Leng Pass – Nho Que River Viewpoint – Meo Vac – Ha Giang City – Hanoi

After breakfast at the homestay, you’ll experience Ha Giang’s most beautiful landscapes and the spectacular Ma Pi Leng Pass, where you can view the Nho Que River below. This pass is renowned, with most tourists considering it the most scenic part of the loop. After the pass, we’ll take an alternate road back to Yen Minh. From Yen Minh, the route returns to Ha Giang City.

Throughout the tour, you’ll encounter various cultures and hill tribes, including the H’mong people of Ha Giang province, recognizable by their distinctive traditional clothing. You’ll be impressed by all aspects of the journey: stunning views, fascinating rural life, and rich cultural heritage. 

The tour ends around 5:00 PM, and you’ll return to Hanoi by sleeper bus at 9:00 PM.

Day 0: Ha Noi – Ha Giang

Transfer from Ha Noi to Ha Giang.

► Day 1: Ha Giang City – Bac Sum Slope – Quan Ba Heaven Gate – Twin Mountains – Yen Minh – Tham Ma Slope – H’mong King Palace – Dong Van Town

Starting at 8:30 AM from our Ha Giang City homestay, you’ll receive a safety briefing from our guides. The journey takes you through dramatic mountain scenery, starting with Bac Sum Pass and the famous Quan Ba Heaven Gate with its iconic Twin Mountains.

We’ll travel through the Dong Van Karst Geopark, featuring terraced rice fields and limestone formations. After lunch in Yen Minh Town, we’ll visit the historic H’mong King Palace via Tham Ma Road. Overnight stay and dinner in Dong Van Town.

► Day 2: Dong Van Town – Volunteer Youth monument – Ma Pi Leng Pass – see over view of Nho Que river – Meo Vac – Du Gia village

 

After breakfast, we leave Dong Van Town to discover the Ma Pi Leng Pass, located on the Happiness Road connecting Dong Van and Meo Vac. This legendary pass is famous for its craggy cliffs and breathtaking views. The winding road through the cliffs reaches an altitude of 2,000 meters.

To showcase the pass’s full beauty, we’ll ride down the breathtaking Sky Path to admire the valley and Nho Que River. You’ll see the panorama of Ma Pi Leng Pass and take unforgettable pictures.

 

Then, we’ll explore remote villages including Lung Ho and Mau Due, stopping for lunch in Meo Vac. The day concludes in the culturally rich Du Gia Village, home to seven ethnic minorities. Enjoy dinner and traditional rice wine at a Tay minority family homestay.

► Day 3: Du Gia village – Du Gia Waterfall – Duong Thuong valley – Thai An road – Bac Me – Ha Giang city – Ha Noi (leave from Ha Giang at 4pm)

After breakfast, we will explore hidden beautiful waterfall – Du Gia waterfallOur return journey to Ha Giang offers final views of northern Vietnam’s stunning landscapes through Duong Thuong Valley and along Thai An RoadDepart for Hanoi at 4:00 PM by limousine bus, concluding this unforgettable mountain adventure.

September to November and March to May offer the most favorable weather. September-November features golden rice terraces and pleasant temperatures. Spring (March-May) brings blooming flowers and green landscapes. If you want to experience the cold and misty of the province, winter (December-February) can be a interesting choice.

The classic loop typically takes 3-4 days to fully experience the region. However, we offer flexible options from 2-day express tours or recommend at least 3 days to comfortably enjoy the main highlights in Ha Giang.

The tour is suitable for most age groups. However, some roads are winding, so we recommend consulting with us if traveling with very young children or those prone to motion sickness. We can adjust the itinerary to ensure comfort for all participants.
