Highlights Discovering the outstanding natural beauty of Tam Coc which is said to be “Halong Bay on land” Exploring the rich biodiversity of Cuc Phuong National Park – home to an amazing variety of animal and plant life Relaxing with natural atmosphere at bungalow of Cuc Phuong National Park and waking up in the limestone mountain forest filled with birds’ songs and primates’ sounds Detailed Itinerary Day 1 Hanoi – Hoa Lu - Tam Coc – Cuc Phuong National Park (-/L/D) 07:25 – 08:00: Get picked up by our friendly guide, then depart for Ninh Binh province.Pickup time depends on the location of tourists in Hanoi Old Quarter/Opera House.09:15: Take a short break for 15–20 minutes to relax.10:15: Visit Hoa Lư, the ancient capital of Vietnam from 968 to 1010. Learn about Vietnamese history during the feudal system under the Dinh, Le, and Ly Dynasties.Enjoy a cycling tour around the village, sightseeing and discovering the local way of life.12:00: Have a local lunch at the restaurant. Vegetarian options are also available.13:30: Visit Tam Coc on a 1.5-hour bamboo boat ride. Be captivated by the charming scenery of paddy fields, rivers, clouds, sky, and a stunning cave system, often referred to as “Ha Long Bay on land.”15:30: Return to the Limousine Bus and head to Mua Cave (Dragon Peak). Climb almost 500 steps to the top of Lying Dragon Mountain for an amazing panoramic view of Tam Coc. Breathe in the fresh air and admire the beautiful lotus paddy fields nearby, especially during the summertime.17:00: Check in to your bungalow/hotel and enjoy free time to relax. Day 2 Cuc Phuong National Park – Hanoi (B/L/-) Morning: Have breakfast and prepare for Cuc Phuong National Park.08:45: Get picked up by our friendly guide and start the tour.10:30: Visit the Endangered Primate Rescue Centre, a non-profit organization dedicated to the rehabilitation, breeding, research, and conservation of endangered primates and the protection of their habitats.12:00: Enjoy lunch at the restaurant with local cuisine.Take a short trek into the National Park for sightseeing and to learn more about the fauna and flora in Vietnam’s oldest forest.
