Bánh mì nướng bơ tỏi, grilled bread with butter and garlic, is one of my mom’s favourite ways to use bread. She usually makes it from the leftover bread nobody ate and turns it into a new dish. She always told me that many poor people still don’t have enough to eat, so we should learn to use our food well. Ingredients 1–2 breads 30 g butter (no salt) 1 small branch of garlic Spring onion or parsley 1 teaspoon salt ½ teaspoon sugar How to make bánh mì nướng bơ tỏi 1. Slice the bread Slice the bread into medium pieces, 2–3 cm thick. Arrange them on a grilling tray with a little oil. 2. Make the garlic butter Peel the garlic and mince it well. Clean the parsley or spring onion and slice it small. Put the butter in a bowl and microwave it for about 30 seconds to melt it. Mix the butter, parsley, garlic, salt and sugar together. 3. Spread and grill Spread the mixture on one face of each slice and grill at 170 degrees for 10 to 15 minutes. You can repeat this on the other face of the bread. Eat it while it’s hot. It works well as a snack. Share:
