Bustling Hanoi offers a charming blend of new and old. Admire beautiful French-styled buildings, sample Hanoi’s unique cuisine, soak up the abundance of culture and history on offer in the compelling sites and monuments of the city.

Locally known as “Halong Bay on land”, Ninh Binh, the UNESCO-protected site, is the next destination in the itinerary where you can witness magical riverine landscape, with sheer limestone mountains rising up from the paddies.

Head to Halong Bay, a coastal city where you can experience diverse natural landscapes, from long white sandy beaches to thousand-year-old-lime-karst. Also, take part in entertaining activities in Halong Park with lots of fun.

Spend your holiday on Sapa town standing at the head of a deep valley of magnificent rice terraces which are still farmed as they have been done for centuries. 

This tour will not be complete without a visit to the highest peak in the region, Mount Fansipan, crowns the ragged ridge line high above Sapa town.

Detailed Itinerary

DAY 1
Hanoi City Tour (-/L/-)
08h00-08h30: The tour guide will pick you up at the Old Quarter area / Opera House area to start for a Hanoi city tour. In the morning, you visit:
- Tran Quoc Pagoda is located on an island in the east of West Lake (Tay Ho District). The pagoda has a history of nearly 1500 years, considered the oldest in Thang Long - Hanoi. Its architecture has a harmonious combination of majesty, ancientness and elegance of the surrounding landscape located amidst the quiet background of an immense lake. It was the Buddhist center of Thang Long citadel in the Ly and Tran dynasties.
- Visit Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum Complex with Uncle Ho's Mausoleum, Uncle Ho's stilt house, Uncle Ho's fish pond, and One Pillar Pagoda.
Note: On Mondays and Fridays, the Mausoleum Management Board will carry out maintenance of the Mausoleum, you will only visit the outside of the Mausoleum, then visit the area of stilt house, fish pond and One Pillar Pagoda.
- Temple of Literature - Quoc Tu Giam, which is considered the first university in Vietnam. It is an ancient architecture, built on a fairly large scale in October 1073 and exists to this day. The Temple of Literature was built to worship Confucius, the founder of Confucianism, and Chu Van An - the principal of Quoc Tu Giam - representing the high moral philosophy of Vietnamese education.
Noon: The tour guide will take you to have lunch at a restaurant
Afternoon: You continue to visit: 
- Thang Long Imperial Citadel is a complex of relics associated with the history of Thang Long - Dong Kinh citadel and Hanoi province starting from the pre-Thang Long period through the Dinh - pre-Le dynasties, flourished under the Ly, Tran, and Le dynasties and became the citadel of Hanoi under the Nguyen Dynasty. This is a massive architectural work built by kings in many historical periods and has become one of the most important monuments in the system of Vietnamese monuments.
Note: On every Monday, Imperial Citadel of Thang Long will be closed. If departing on Monday, the attractions of Thang Long Imperial Citadel will be compensated with tickets to visit Ngoc Son Temple.
- Visit Hoa Lo Prison, formerly a prison located in Hanoi, Vietnam, also known as Center Prison or ironically, the Hanoi Hilton. It was built when Indochina was an inseparable part of the French Empire. Partially demolished in 1990, now used as a museum.
- Visit Hoan Kiem Lake, also known as Hoan Kiem Lake, learn about the architecture of Vietnam and surrounding France around the lake area. You will visit and take pictures outside Ngoc Son Temple to worship Saint Van Xuong and Tran Hung Dao - famous generals in Vietnamese and world history and The Huc Bridge. If you have a need to go inside the temple, you will have to pay for the entrance ticket at your own expense.
► At the end of the City tour Hanoi, the car will take you back to the hotel in the Old Quarter or you can rent a cyclo at your own expense to walk around the Old Quarter and Hoan Kiem Lake area or go to see a water puppet show... (performance schedule may change depending on the specific period).
16:00: You come back to the hotel to check in and take a rest. Have dinner at your own expense to explore Hanoi Old Quarter cuisine. In the evening, you are free to walk around and explore the Old Quarter at night. Stay overnight in Hanoi.
DAY 2
Hanoi - Ninh Binh - Hanoi (B/L/-)
07h30-08h00: The car and tour guide will pick you up at hotels in the Old Quarter and Hanoi Opera House, then depart for Ninh Binh.
10:30: Arrive in Bai Dinh. The tour guide takes you to visit Bai Dinh pagoda - a famous temple with many records. The whole area of Bai Dinh pagoda has an area of 107ha, in which, the Temple of Tam The and Phap Chu is thousands of square meters wide. At this temple, there is the largest bronze Buddha Tathagata statue in Southeast Asia (weighing 100 tons) and three statues of Tam The, each weighing 50 tons.
12:30: Get to a local restaurant to have lunch.
14h00: Car takes you to Trang An wharf, board on a boat to visit Trang An eco-tourism area - where limestone strips, valleys and rivers intertwine to create a fanciful and mysterious space. Here, you have the opportunity to sit on a boat, relax and visit 4 natural caves among the most beautiful caves in Trang An tourist area, namely Hang Lam cave, Hang Vang cave, Hang Thanh Truot cave and Hang Dai cave. You also stop to visit spiritual sites such as Suoi Tien Temple and Hanh Cung Vu Lam. This route will be very suitable for young people who like to take pictures and check in. You can have the full experience of the journey by boat to visit the cave as well as save your emotions and beautiful photos in the journey to visit Trang An .
16h30: You get on the car back to Hanoi.
19h00: You return to Hanoi. Get to the hotel, take a rest. Have dinner at your own expense to explore the cuisine in Hanoi Old Quarter. In the evening, you are free to walk around and explore the Old Quarter at night. Overnight in Hanoi.
DAY 3
Hanoi - Halong Bay (B/L/D)
08h15-08h45: The tour guide will pick you up at the hotel in Halong
11h30-12h00: Arrive at Ha Long port, the tour group gathers at the waiting house under the guidance of the tour guide, get the ticket from the tour guide and get on board to start your journey of exploring the bay. The cruise will go through a lot of the large and small islands with many different shapes, including Hon Ga Choi - the symbol of Halong Bay...
Enjoy lunch on board.
14h00: Arrive at Bo Hon island, you will visit Sung Sot Cave - one of the most beautiful caves in Halong Bay. Next, you will kayak or take a bamboo boat to visit Luon Cave (the cost of kayaking or sitting on a bamboo boat is not included). After 30 minutes of kayaking, you board the cruise to go to Titop island.
You can swim at Titop beach with white sand, or try trekking to the top of Titop mountain to see the panoramic view of Halong Bay.
16h30: You return to the cruise. The cruise will move to bring you back to the port. You can sunbathe on the deck, listen to music and relax, and immerse yourself in the nature of Halong Bay.
17h30: The cruise docks. The car picks you up and takes you to the hotel to check in and rest.
19h00: Have dinner. Enjoy a free evening to explore Night Market, Food Street... Overnight in Halong.
DAY 4
Halong Park - Halong city - Hanoi (B/L/-)
Morning: Have a buffet breakfast at the hotel. A suggested itinerary for a morning visit in Halong are as follows:
Take a walk or swim at Bai Chay beach or freely hire a taxi to visit the 7-color neighborhood which is like a miniature Italy in the heart of Ha Long.
Join a tour to Yen Tu - Dong Pagoda. Explore one of Vietnam's largest Buddhist centers (please book the tour latest from the afternoon of the previous day for a quote). If you go to Yen Tu, you will check out of the hotel right after breakfast to depart for Yen Tu. After finishing the tour in Yen Tu, you have lunch at the restaurant, then the guide will take you to pick up the car to come back to Hanoi.
11h00: You check out of the hotel, have lunch at the hotel and rest.
Afternoon: You choose one of the following 03 options:
1. Return to Hanoi right after lunch. Arrive in Hanoi at about 15h00 - 15h30.
2. Have fun at the amusement parks of the complex of Ha Long Park with many attractive amusement parks (ticket fees are on your own expenses).

3. Around 13h00-13h30, the car picks you up for the Hon Gai city tour (minimum 4 guests in order to start the tour):
Sit in the car and contemplate the Bai Chay bridge. 
Visit Quang Ninh Museum, the massive architectural cluster with the largest investment value (over 900 billion VND) and the first official museum built in Quang Ninh province.
Take pictures (outside) at Dolphin Palace, which was honored to be in the list of 10 constructions and buildings in the world honored at the International Architecture Awards (Chicago) 2019. 
Sit in the car and watch the beautiful Tran Quoc Nghien beach on the shores of Heritage Bay.
Visit the Temple of Mr. Tran Quoc Nghien, Hung Vu Vuong Tran Quoc Nghien, the eldest son of Hung Dao Dai Vuong Tran Quoc Tuan, grandson of King Tran Thai Tong. The temple is located on the shore of Ha Long Bay.
End the program City Ha Long by enjoying a cup of coffee and relaxing at Gio Cafe (Wind Coffee Shop) with a panoramic view of Halong Bay and watching the cruise lines.
Please note: the City Ha Long program is an open program, so it only includes a shuttle bus ticket, and does not include other costs such as sightseeing tickets, personal expenses and may not have a tour guide accompanied.
Evening: Come back to Hanoi. The car will take you to the hotel to check in. Have dinner at your own expense to explore the cuisine of the Old Quarter. In the evening, you are free to walk and explore the Old Quarter at night. Overnight in Hanoi.
DAY 5
Hanoi - Sapa - Cat Cat (B/L/D)
06h30: The car will pick you up at 160 Tran Quang Khai (about 250-300m away from your hotel) to depart for Sapa in the direction of Hanoi - Lao Cai highway.
13h00-13h30: Arrive in Sapa, have lunch at the hotel, then check in at the hotel, and take a rest.
Afternoon: Tour guide picks you up and takes you to visit Cat Cat village to learn about the daily life of H'mong ethnic people, visit Tien Sa waterfall. Enjoy a traditional musical performance at the old hydroelectric power station.
18h00: Have dinner and be free for activities in the evening. Take pictures with Sapa Stone Church, get to know about the Sapa Love market celebrated on every Saturday, or simply enjoy grilled specialties and drink famous San Lung wine to warm up your body in the cold of Sapa. Overnight in Sapa.
DAY 6
Sapa - Fansipan Cable Car - Hanoi
07h00: Have breakfast at the hotel and rest. Enjoy a cup of hot coffee in the morning at the restaurant.
08h00: The car and guide take you to Fansipan Cable Car Station to start the journey of conquering Fansipan by the world's most modern 3-wire cable car system with a cabin that can accommodate up to 30 guests. 
From the upper station, go through Thanh Van Dac Lo Heaven Gate, you can reach the place of clouds. Bich Van Thien Tu located at an altitude of over 2,000m welcomes tourists and Buddhists from all corners of the world with pure Vietnamese architecture, in the middle of the mist; Walking in the sound of bells echoing in the middle of the clouds and mountains, to a height of 3,000m, you will see the great bronze statue of Amitabha Buddha 21.5m high. From the Great Buddha, following the Arhat Road - where 18 bronze statues of Arhat, 2.5m high are located, you will reach the complex of Kim Son Bao Thang Tu with the ancient beauty of the Vietnamese wooden pagoda from the 15th-16th century, admire the statue of Quan The Am Bodhisattva, Mieu Son God.
Finally, after conquering 600 stone steps, you have reached Fansipan Peak at an altitude of 3,143m, which is considered the Roof of Indochina.
11h30: Come back to Sapa town to check out, then have lunch and rest.
13h15: Tour guide will take you to the car to return to Hanoi.
19h00: Arrive at Noi Bai Airport, the car will take you to the airport lobby (if you register in advance).
20h00: Arrive at Hanoi. End tour. See you later!

Children Policy

  • Children from 1-4 years old are free (parents take care of all expenses for children, do not occupy seats in the car). 02 adults can be attached for free with 1 child. From the 2nd child and above, the fee is 75% of the tour price.
  • If 01 adult is accompanied by 01 child from 1-4 years old, the child must buy 50% of the adult’s tour price (enjoy the service like children 5-9 years old).
  • Children from 5-9 years old pay 75% of tour price (separate meals, separate seat in private cars but must sleep with parents). 02 charged children also do not have their own bed.
  • Children 10 years and older are counted as adults.
