Detailed Itinerary

Day 1
Hanoi - Welcome dinner with Ca Trù - Intangible Oral Heritage of Humanity (-/-/D)
Our local tour guide will meet you at Noi Bai International Airport upon your arrival and transfer you to your hotel in Hanoi. After a short rest, you will have a cyclo ride around the bustling streets of Hanoi and discover the famous attractions of the city before enjoying a warmly welcome dinner.
In the evening, you will enjoy a “Ca Tru” traditional music show – the masterpiece of the Oral and Intangible Heritage of Humanity.
Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 2
Hanoi City heritage tour (B/L/-)
You will spend this whole day to discover the other 2 out of 4 world heritage sites in Hanoi.
After breakfast, we will begin the day with a visit to the Imperial Citadel of Thang Long  which looks like an open-air museum exhibiting the lively evidences of the history with famous attractions inside the citadel.
Next, we will transfer to visit the Temple of Literature, a must-see destination in Hanoi for more understanding about the study spirit of the Hanoians in the past. This destination attracts both domestic and international tourists not only with its special architectural values but also with its stone stele records of royal examinations of the Le and Mac Dynasties which are acknowledged as the World Documentary Heritage. Enjoy lunch with Vietnam’s local dishes at a local restaurant. And then you’ll be free to further discover the insight of Hanoi at your leisure in the afternoon.

Day 3
Hanoi - Halong - World Natural Heritage (B/L/D)
Our tour guide will pick you up at your hotel at around 8:00 and depart for Halong to discover Halong Bay, one of the World’s New Seven Wonders of Nature. Take a short break during the 3.5 hour drive to the Halong city.
Upon arrival in Halong at around noon, we will embark on a traditional wooden boat and start the cruise to visit the stunning bay. Fresh seafood lunch will be served on board while you are cruising to the "matrix part" of the bay with thousand islands and islets. Let’s enjoy the fresh air and take nice photos of many beautiful limestone rocks.
After lunch, the cruise will take you to further part of Halong bay, you’ll visit an amazing cave then stop at a beautiful island where you can swim on the sandy beach or walk up to the top for a panoramic view. As the sun sets over the bay, just relax on sundeck with your drink and admire the magical seascape.
After dinner with the typical local seafood on board, you will be free for relaxing or going squid fishing on the bay if the weather permits. Overnight on board.
Day 4
Halong - Hanoi - Bac Ninh Folk Song (Brunch/D)
Wake up in the early morning for a breathtaking on sundeck and admire the sunrise from the vast seas with thousands of islands and islets, then be ready to experience a fun kayaking or rowing boat trip around the area for a stunning vista in the scenic bay, approaching the rock islets and touching their bumpy surfaces.
You’ll then get back to the boat and check out. Lunch would be served when cruising back to the harbor.
Upon arrival at the harbor, we will get on car to go back to Hanoi. On the way, you will stop in Bac Ninh  to enjoy Quan Ho performance – a kind of folk songs (a masterpiece of the oral and intangible heritage of humanity).
We reach Hanoi at around 17:30, enjoy early dinner and get ready for the night train to Quang Binh. Overnight on train.
Day 5
Quang Binh - Phong Nha Ke Bang National Park (L/D)
Upon arrival in Quang Binh, our tour guide and driver will meet you at the station and take you to Phong Nha for an exciting outdoor activity day trip discovering one of the World Heritage Sites in Vietnam – Phong Nha Ke Bang National Park.
This day trip does a loop through the highway 20 and the Ho Chi Minh Trail West which are roads dissecting the park built during the “American war” to get troops and materials to the south to help in fighting the war on the southern side of the DMZ line. During the visit, our guide will provide you an enormous amount of information relating the park, its vegetation, geology and wildlife as well as history and culture of not only the area but also Vietnam and its people.
During the itinerary today, you will visit the Paradise Cave which looks like a landscape painting drawn from natural primitive features, experience a short hike on the Nuoc Mooc Eco Trail and then swim in the Son River or Chay River.
Back to Phong Nha center for dinner and overnight.
Day 6
Transfer to Hue (240km or 4 hours driving) (B/L/-)
After breakfast, you will get on private car and head to Hue City which is about 240 km (150 miles) from Phong Nha. On the way to Hue, you’ll stop and visit some historical site such as Hien Luong Bridge, Ben Hai River and Bo De bombed school.
Upon arrival in Hue in the early afternoon, our local guide will greet you and escort you to the hotel. You are then free for discovering the poetic city, taking nice photos and visiting the nearby Imperial Citadel.
In the evening, you are free to enjoy the royal meal or discover the Hue city by night and enjoy Hue’s specialties (program is on request).

Day 7
Hue city tour - Complex of Hue Monuments - World Cultural Heritage (B/L/-)
Start your seventh day with a soft breakfast before attending a full day discovering the Hue City.
We will spend the first half of our 7th day discovering the complex of Hue monuments which is listed as World Cultural Heritage with the first visit to Hue Imperial Citadel and stay in Duyet Thi Duong Theatre to listen to the Hue Royal Court Music  in one hour. This traditional music is one of the masterpieces of the oral and intangible heritage of humanity acknowledged in November 2003.
Our next stop in this morning will be the Khai Dinh tomb which is considered a representative of a fusion of traditional Vietnamese style and modern influence. After Khai Dinh tomb, we will move to Tu Duc Tomb – the largest and most luxurious tomb with sophisticated architecture and charming landscape. Spend time walking around the tomb and listen to the interesting story behind this great complex will give you more understanding about the royal architecture with the harmony of Fengshui. A scheduled lunch will be served on the way back to the city center before a stop by the main road to visit the conical hat and incense making village to learn about how the locals make their products just with hands and simple tools.
In the afternoon, we will spend about 2.5 hours in car head to Hoi An ancient town. After reaching Hoi An and check-in hotel, you will be free to discover this small peaceful town. Overnight in Hoi An.
Day 8
Hoi An city tour (B/-/-)
Recognized as World Cultural Heritage in December 1999, Hoi An Ancient Town used to be famous for being the busiest commercial port in the country. Today, its ancient beauty and thousands of ancient architectures have been luckily kept almost intact, making a visit to Hoi An almost like a journey back through time.
In the morning, our tour guide will meet you for an exciting trip discovering the ancient town by strolling around the ancient streets, exploring the features of the 400-year-old urban area including the Japanese Covered Bridge, Fujian (Phuc Kien) Assembly Hall, ancient wells, and the local fish market. This itinerary also takes you to visit a family making traditional lanterns, let you try making some meaningful gifts for friends and relatives as a memory of this Hoi An trip.
In the afternoon, you are free to explore the charming Cua Dai beach for relaxing moments or cycle along peaceful roads of suburban area of Hoi An Town.  Come back to the ancient town for free dinner at your leisure. Overnight in Hoi An.
Day 9
Hoi An - My Son Sanctuary (World Cultural Heritage) and transfer to Danang (B/L/-)
In the last morning of the trip, our guide will meet you at your hotel at around 8:30 for a half day discovering the My Son Sanctuary which was recognized as world cultural heritage in December 1999. Set in a lush valley, My Son was an capital and religious center of the Cham people, and is now one of Southeast Asia’s greatest archaeological sites. Upon arrival, you will be surprised at its beauty and interesting stories about its historical and cultural values.
After spending time discovering the sanctuary and capture beautiful photo corners and memorial moments, we will get back to Hoian for lunch and relaxing. Then, depending on your departure time we get on car and head to Danang International Airport.
We will say goodbye to you at Danang International Airport. End of the tour to discover Vietnam – the Country of World Heritages!
