CANCELLATION &amp; REFUND POLICY<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>5.1. Cancellation of booking by client<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Due to the extensive time and planning involved with traveling, a strict cancellation policy is applicable to compensate for costs and lost revenue. For hotel, tour, and car booking:<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>+ Cancellation made after booking confirmation or more than 30 days prior to departure date: 10% of the total booking cost will be withdrawn from the deposit. The remainder of the deposit will be refunded.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>+ Cancellation made between 16 and 30 days prior to departure date: 50% of the total booking cost will be charged or loss of deposit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>+ Cancellation made between 8 and 15 days prior to departure date: 50% of the total booking cost will be charged or loss of deposit; plus the number of penalties charged by hotels or car operators if applicable. All penalties will be itemized.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>+ Cancellation made between 3 and 7 days prior to departure date: 75% of the total booking cost will be charged; plus the number of penalties charged by hotels or car operators or any third-party service providers if applicable. All penalties will be itemized.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>+ Cancellation made less than 3 days prior to departure date (including no-shows): 100% of the total booking cost will be charged.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>+ Any cases related to unused services due to willingness, early departure, late arrival, or missed days on tours\/services, no refund will be made.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>5.1.2. For train and air ticket booking.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8211; Cancellation of issued tickets at any time will be charged a 10% of the total ticket prices plus the number of penalties charged and confirmed by airlines and rail companies if applicable. All penalties will be itemized. <a href=\"https:\/\/vietnamdiscovery.com\/es\/\">www.vietnamdiscovery.com<\/a> shall make a refund of the remainder after clarifying all fees to be charged with confirmation made by both you and the Company.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8211; Time for refund processing will be between 15 and 20 working days since the confirmation of cancellation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>NOTE: The specific cancellation and refund policy of each service is clearly published at the service voucher delivered to you after your payment via email. Please be reminded to read through carefully before coming to Vietnam for your trip, hotel room or transportation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Please note that certain rates or special promotions are not applicable for cancellation or change. If you wish to review your reservation, please revert to the confirmation email and follow the instructions therein. If you wish to delay-modify-extend-cancel the tour\/hotel\/transportation booking please inform us as soon as possible via email (support@vietnamdiscovery.com)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>5.2. Cancellation by Vietnamdiscovery.com<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We may cancel a trip at any time prior to departure due to such events of force majeure as terrorism, natural disasters, war, fire or other external events that are not viable for us to operate the planned itinerary. In case such events happen, we are responsible for immediately informing the client and refunding the full amount that you have paid for. The client can also transfer the paid amount to alternate departure date if the operation condition is permitted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>6. FLEXIBILITY<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>You appreciate and acknowledge that the nature of this type of travel requires considerable flexibility and you should allow for alternatives. The itinerary provided for each trip is representative of the types of activities contemplated, but it is understood that the route, schedules, itineraries, amenities and mode of transport may be subject to alteration without prior notice due to local circumstances or events.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>7.
