Summary

Even though this is your first time visiting Hanoi, the second, the third or more, being part of this trip will help you soak up the atmosphere and delicacy of the beautiful and elegant capital of Vietnam. As the capital of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, a rich cultural and traditional land, Ha Noi is located on the bank of the Red River with tranquil Hoan Kiem Lake at its heart, North of the lake are the bustling Hanoi streets of Hanoi Old Quarter, each street is named after the trade that used to take place there. As a tourist, you will be offered a special day visiting Ho Chi Minh’s mausoleum, One Pillar Pagoda, Ho Chi Minh Museum, Presidential Palace, and Temple of Literature, Ethnology Museum, taking a “cyclo” ride through the Hanoi Old Quarter and watching the incredible water puppet show.

Itinerary

  • 08:00 - 08:30: our guide & driver will pick you up at your hotel in Ha Noi Old Quarter. Then visit Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and Museum.
  • Lying next to the Mausoleum is the One Pillar Pagoda which was founded by King Ly Thai To in 1049. Its structure has become an important symbol of Hanoi people.
  • Continue to visit the Quan Thanh Temple (Taoist – dated back from the Ly Dynasty) and Buddhist Tran Quoc Pagoda on West lake (One of the oldest pagodas in Vietnam).
  • After that, we will have lunch.
  • 13:00 – 13:30: After lunch, proceed to visit the Ethnology Museum.
  • Go on to visit the Literature Temple and Quoc Tu Giam, Vietnam’s first university, which was constructed in 1070. Its gardens and well-preserved architecture offers a relaxing glimpse into Vietnam’s past. 
  • Then we will take you to Hoan Kiem Lake to see the peaceful water and visit Ngoc Son temple.
  • At the end of the tour we will take a coach trip along the Hanoi Old Quarter. After that, it’s your free for shopping.
  • Tour ends at around 17:00
