If I have lost my voucher, what should I do?

In case you lose or damage the hotel voucher, please do not worry because the hotel system has already received the detail information of your successful booking. Thus you just need to show the reception your certificate of identity (for Vietnamese) or your passport (for foreigners).

How can I prove the hotel that my booking is successful? What is "hotel voucher"?

Right after your payment has been announced to be successfully transferred, you will receive the “hotel voucher” from us via email. This hotel voucher is a receipt to prove that your booking is successful and that you have paid for the hotel room. The hotel voucher includes the details of your booking such as your check in, check out, name and type of room, number of person(s), name of hotel, name of guest, etc.

What you need to do to prove the hotel that your booking is successful is just to download and print out the “hotel voucher”  and show to hotel reception upon your check-in (with your certificate of identity (for Vietnamese) or your passport (for foreigners)).

What is the check-in/out time? Can check in a bit earlier and/or check out a bit later? Is it charged or not?

Check-in and out times differ between hotels. You will find them on the "Hotel Policies" section of each hotel. In general, it is as follows:

• Check-in time: from 12.00 noon
• Check-out time: before 12.00 noon

Early check-in and late check-out are subject to availability and different hotel policies. Some hotels are willing to offer a bit early check-in or late check-out for free, but most are sur-charged. This is subject to room availability at the time of your check-in/check-out. Thus if you need to check in earlier and/or check out later, please note this in the “Special requests” section when filling out the secure online reservation form.  If you would like to extend your stay in some days, early check in or late check out, please contact us to secure a competitive price. Besides, you also can contact the hotel directly, but the rate is always higher.

Are the rooms free of charge for children?

It depends on each hotel’s policy and the age of children. You can check it in the “Hotel Policies” in each hotel information at www.Vietnamhotels.net.

When you make reservation, please indicate the number of accompanied children and their ages noted so that we can base on this to inform you the concrete child policy for your case (free of charge, full charged or discount).

Normally,the general child policy of every hotel is as follows:

a.      Children under 2 years old are normally free of chare. Baby cots are available upon request and may sometimes be subject to additional charges.

b.      Children under 6 years old can share the existing room with parents, without using extra bed. Or should you need an extra bed for him/her, kindly look at the “Extra bed” price column on the right of the hotel room rates (for those charged).

c.       Children above 12 years old are fully charged as an adult.

Please be advised that child policy varies from hotel to hotel. Some hotels will limit occupancy of a room to two adults and one child. Only a few hotels have large enough beds for both parents and additional children, so an extra bed is usually required in this case. Some hotels will charge for this extra bed.

Can I book more than 10 rooms with the same room types? If it is not possible, what is the minimum rooms I can book?

There is no limit to the number of rooms you can book. Yet, the success of your booking depends upon the hotel rooms’ availability and the time between your booking and your check-in. The sooner you book, the more possible you can get enough rooms of your interest.

Does www.VietnamDiscovery.com provide airport pick-up service? How do we use this service? Does the airport pick-up service fee include in the room rate?

Yes, we do offer airport pick-up service for our guests. What you need to do is just to simply fill in the “Special Request” part (in the online booking form) with “airport pick-up service” and submit to us, or just inform us of this via email/phone/fax. We will base on this request to calculate and add this fee to the room rate to finalize the total price for you since it is not yet included in the hotel room rate.

Can I book the room within a day? What is the minimum time between the booking and check-in time?

Yes, you can book the room within a day, even within 4 or 5 hours (as the time limit between booking and checking in) provided that the room is still available. However, please reserve your room as soon as possible since we cannot guarantee the room availability within such a short time.

Is there a limit to the number of rooms I can book within a reservation? In this case, how and when do I have to submit the reservation?

No, there is no limit, but if you need more than 5 rooms, please send an email to support@vietnamhotels.net or call us at our hotline +84.989.383.767 providing the number of rooms needed, the maximum budget, your telephone number, the type of rooms needed and the destination to book your rooms. In this case of a large number of booking rooms, the sooner you submit the reservation, the more easily and successfully your reservation can be met by the hotel.

How can I make a Special Request (Bed Type, Non-Smoking, Room Location, room on a certain floor or dietary needs, etc.)? Can I request pick-up service?

Please note that inStep 3 (Customer details), after filling out the secure reservation request form (full name, nationality, email address, your desired password, country, telephone, etc.), enter the guest’s full name, you can choose any options of your interest at the box "Special Requests (Optional)". In this box, we have 6 frequent guests’ requests including Non-smoking, smoking room, High Floor, Low floor, King/queen Bed, Extra bed. If you wish to submit more requests, you can note in the box “Other Needs / Special Questions”.For Pick-up service, you can note also in “Other needs/Special Questions”. Kindly note that Special Requests are subject to each individual hotel's availability, and cannot be guaranteed by Vietnamhotels.net.

Can I search hotels by price?

Yes, but only after you have entered a destination and your dates of travel. Once you have done this, you will be shown a list of available hotels. At the top of the page you can see a “Sort by” bar, which includes the option of sorting the hotels price. When you click on ‘price’ (low to high), you can sort the hotels by price, combined with specific available room types.
