Summary

Between the 4th and 13th centuries a unique culture which owed its spiritual origins to Indian Hinduism developed on the coast of contemporary Vietnam. This is graphically illustrated by the remains of a series of impressive tower-temples located in a dramatic site that was the religious and political capital of the Champa Kingdom for most of its existence. For those who want to discover the Champa Culture, we offer you a tour to discover this original culture at one of the World Heritages of Vietnam: My Son Holy Land. It is said that after the My Son complex had been discovered, many of its artifacts, especially statues of female dancers and genies worshipped by the Cham people, worship animals and artifacts of the daily communal activities, were collected and displayed at the Cham Architecture Museum (established from 1915) in Da nang city.

Itinerary

  • First, you will be picked up at hotel in Hoi an at 08:00. Then you are guided to explore Cham Culture in the real temples and sanctuaries at My Son - the religious center of Cham people in Vietnam.
  • At 12:00, we will have lunch.
  • In the afternoon, we continue visit the Cham Architecture Museum in Da nang city, the house of the finest collection of Cham sculptures in the world.
  • End of the tour at bout 17:00.
