By train
Travelers shall find it easy to get to Quy Nhon City by train because juts only 10 km west of Quy Nhon has the Diey Tri Railway Station where all reunification express train stop. To get to Quy Nhon from there, travelers only have to walk to the main road (around 5 minutes) and take a bus directly to Quy Nhon City. Most buses will bring you to the supermarket at the city center.
There is also a daily night train from Ho Chi Minh City to Quy Nhon directly. This train often has to wait for reunification express trains to pass by and therefore delays of 2 or 3 hours are not unusual, especially on the train from Quy Nhon to Ho Chi Minh City.
There is also a train from Quy Nhon to Vinh at the North-central coast around every other day.
By bus
Connecting Quy Nhon to all cities along the South-central Coast, Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, and some places in the Central Highlands is the convenient bus system. Buses to Da Nang take 6 to 7 hours (stopping near Hoi An is possible) to Nha Trang 4 hours and to Pleiku 3 hours. The bus station is located in the south of the city center, almost 2 km from the supermarket.
If you want to walk, turn right at the main entrance of the station, walk along Tay Son Road until you reach the intersection at the end of the road (at Royal Resort), turn left and walk along An Duong Vuong / the beach.
By Plane
There is the Phu Cat Airport located just around 30km north-west of Quy Nhon. The airport has flights to Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi and vice versa.
