Situated in the North-Central Vietnam, Quang Binh shares the border with Ha Tinh province in the north, East Sea in the east, Laos in the west and Quang Tri province in the south.
The province’s topography is narrow and sloping from west to east, which has great influence on Quang Binh’s climate conditions. The area lies within the tropical monsoon climate region and is always influenced by the climate of both the North and the South. A year is reflected through two distinct seasons: rainy season from September to March of the following year (rainfall concentrates much in September, October and November); dry season from April to August with the average temperature of 24-25oC (the hottest months are June, July and August).
Depending on your purpose of traveling, you can select the right time to visit Quang Binh, whether in rainy season or dry season.
