Phu Tho Climate

Situated within the northern Plains and Midland region, Phu Tho’s topography is mainly characterized by hills. The province boasts three big rivers namely Red River, Da River, and Lo River.

Phu Tho lies in the tropical monsoon climate region with four seasons: spring, summer, autumn, and winter. Like other northern provinces, winter is cold with monsoon blowing from northeastern region; and summer is hot with much rain.

The annual average temperature is 23oC; the average rainfall ranges from 1600mm-1800mm; and the annual average humidity is from 85-87%.

There is normally no worst time to travel to Phu Tho since rainy season and dry season do not have much influence on tourism. So if you are planning to travel to Phu Tho, feel free to arrange your trip anytime.
