Heaven pond and Fairy spring

Heaven Pond – Fairy Spring (Ao Gioi – Suoi Tien) lies on Na Mountain, the highest one in Phu Tho, which is 80 km to the northwest of Viet Tri, 15km from Ao Chau.

The road leading to this site lies among hundreds of various-size mountains with the average height of 500-600 meters above sea level. Among these, Na Mountain, with the height of 1200m, imposingly raises itself above all other peaks as the backbone of the spacious midland region. Na Mountain is covered by layers of green tropical trees stacking over each other. There are many rare and precious species of plants and animals in the forest such as ironwood, sindora wood and canary wood, species of monkeys, deer, muntjac, civet, wild boar, etc.

Flowing from Na Mountain, through the rock canyons, the Fairy Spring looks like silver silk strips acrossing the mountain slopes, mixing among the fresh green color of the forest and the sky, making the scenery more vivid, mysterious, and poetic. As it flows along, Fairy Spring creates many sloping waterfalls. There are up to 14 waterfalls along the stream, several of which reach the height of 20 meters, just like the white screens to protect the small grottoes and caves at their back.

At the head of the stream lies a well called Gieng Tien (Fairy Well), which is about 40m2 with the depth of 10m. It is said that, the one who bathes in Heaven Pond – Fairy Stream in three years will have a white and smooth skin, beautiful face and relaxed mind. That might be the reason for the attraction of Fairy Stream, especially in hot summer days.

This tourist site still preserved its original beauty with great tourism potential. This is a good place for mountain climbing, camping, resort and science research…
