Itinerary

• 08:00: We will pick you up in District 1, Ho Chi Minh City to leave Ho Chi Minh City (old Saigon) for Cu Chi Tunnels which is located about 60km from Ho Chi Minh Center. Before visiting the tunnels, visitors will find it hard to imagine the destruction, damage & defoliation over this whole area, caused by bombing and mines. There is plenty of evidence of the fierce battle that took place here during the 1960s when Cu Chi was a "Free Target Zone".
• We drive through pleasant countryside with the peacefully rural rice paddy scenery containing ducks and water buffalos swimming in the rivers alongside the road.
• Before entering the tunnels visitors can watch a short introductory video showing how the tunnels were constructed.
• You will spend the next hour exploring the tunnels.
• Afterwards, enjoy tea, cassava (guerrilla’s food during the war).
• Then we take bus back to Ho Chi Minh City Center.
• 14:00: Arrive in Ho Chi Minh Center. Finish the Ho Chi Minh City tour visiting Cu Chi Tunnels.
